2. What does the agency do?

We are a full service influencer marketing company. We do strategy, content, creative, and compliances with all sizes of Influencers. We run campaigns across almost all social media platforms ie Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, Twitter etc which are creators and influencers backed. Suppose, you represent a brand and want to partner with influencers to promote your product/services, raise awareness about it or amplify sales – Pulpkey is the one to reach out to. We work as an extension of the brand’s marketing team. We work together with the brand team right from the beginning of creating an idea for a campaign, to shortlisting influencers, ideating content, negotiations on commercials, overseeing the entire content creation process, sending drafts for approvals to going live, and at the end payments to creators and detailed reports for the campaign.

3. What is the size and the strength of the company?

We are a team of 25 creative and crazy people, the average age of our team is 24-26, who live and breathe social media all day.

We’ve been working with Amazon India for the last 4 years. We manage the largest influencer-lead affiliate program in the country that is Amazon Fashion Influencer Program for them. We also run Amazon LIVE which is the biggest active live streaming property by any online e-commerce platform in India. Apart from these we work with multiple categories like Home Decor, Sports, Books
and Toys, Grooming products etc etc inside Amazon. We work with all brands under the Rebel Foods portfolio i.e. Behrouz Biryani,
Oven Story Pizza, Wendy’s, Faasos, Lunchbox. Maybe you have seen the famous post by Akshar Pathak with Wendy’s or Saif Ali Khan for Behrouz. We also work with ITC under many portfolios such as Sunrise, Aashirvaad, Bingo, Classmate etc.
You might have also seen the Born On Instagram Program by Instagram Team where we were one of the agencies that did stuff from start to finish. We have done WebStories campaigns by Google. Some more brand we work with: Urban Company, Hotstar, Kingfisher, Taco Bell, Godrej, Mother Dairy, CureFit, Kent, OPPO, Times of India etc.

6. What makes your agency stand out from the rest?

Culture. The expertise of the team. It is mostly people who build agencies. And we have really good people working for Pulpkey. Brands and influencers are important to us. Pulpkey has a team of people who run different brands within the company. We hire carefully. We hire good people. Brands who are looking for an exclusive influencer marketing agency, will have a great experience. We don’t oversell anything and don’t focus on doing all the other things in marketing, rather focus on doing one thing well, and really well – that is Influencer Marketing.

7. What has been the biggest hurdle in your agency?

The only challenge we find constantly in hiring right people at top-level such a business development or creative strategy in influencer marketing. We’re on it and believe we will fix this too.

8. What are some of the key future goals or projects that the agency is working towards?

New platforms such as LinkedIn and new formats such as podcasts are something we are pondering upon these days.

9. How has the company culture affected overall performance?

We earlier faced little issues being 100% remote, but over a period of time, we created models where we don’t have daily standups. Pulpkey only does ‘crisis and creative meetings’ – no ‘update meetings’ at a top level. We also don’t have any employee work hour tracker. The core thing the company operates is trust. Hence it gives employees more flexibility and gradually developed an entrepreneur-alike mindset which helped us a lot. People who reside in the same city often work together or hangout. The whole
team does offsites at least once a quarter. We have done many team vacations across multiple cities, hills and beaches in India. We are going to Malaysia in Aug’24.

10. What roles is the agency hiring for and how to reach out?

We are currently hiring for multiple roles
– Business Development Manager
– Influencer Specialist
– Accounts Managers
