Popular fashion influencer Insha Ghaii has announced the sudden demise of her husband Ankit Kalra at the age of 29, leaving the internet community reeling in shock.
In a heartfelt post on Instagram, Insha shared a decorated picture with an emotional message: “Take me one day back. I promise to do things differently! Come back baby, please? I miss you.”

The couple, who tied the knot in February 2023, had been married for little over a year. They were much admired for their vibrant presence on social media which showcased their loving and playful relationship and were known to post humorous reels that revolved around the light-hearted moments of their married life.
The couple also co-owned a clothing label named “House of Styles, by Smriti & Insha”.
Ankit’s last Instagram reel with Insha, posted on August 4th, was captioned “modern problems require modern solutions”.

However, Ankit Kalra’s untimely death on August 19th 2024 left fans and followers grappling with shock. The news was announced one day after Raksha Bandhan, making it all the more poignant for those following the story.
Insha’s announcement was met with an outpouring of shock by the online community, who expressed their grief and sympathy at the unexpected news.
“Extend my heartfelt condolences to you and your family… I wish we could Undo some stuff in our life,” one user wrote.
“Life is so unpredictable, stay strong,” another added.

The post did not reveal the cause behind Ankit’s death, although one of Insha’s followers believed that he had died due to a silent heart attack.
