Just Words, an innovative AI-powered marketing platform, has successfully raised $1.7 million in a seed funding round.
The funding was led by Peak XV Partners, formerly known as Sequoia Capital India & SEA, alongside Y Combinator. Co-founded by Neha Mittal and Jeff Hara, the startup is on a mission to revolutionize customer communication by utilizing artificial intelligence to create highly personalized content in real-time.
The core of Just Words’ technology lies in its advanced AI engine, which analyzes user behavior, preferences, and market trends to dynamically optimize messaging across multiple channels, including emails and push notifications. This allows businesses to experiment with a variety of messaging styles simultaneously, helping them avoid content fatigue while boosting engagement and conversion rates.
The platform has already attracted the attention of major AI-focused companies such as Grammarly, BeReal, and BiggerPockets, showcasing its effectiveness in delivering substantial results. Just Words is also placing a strong emphasis on the Indian market, aiming to reach billions by offering customized solutions for popular platforms like Naukri and Jeevansathi.
Neha Mittal, CEO and Co-Founder of Just Words, expressed her excitement about the recent funding. “Partnering with Peak XV and Y Combinator is a significant milestone for us as we work towards reshaping the way businesses interact with their customers. This investment will allow us to further enhance our AI capabilities and build a top-tier team to meet the growing demand for personalized messaging solutions,” Mittal said.
She also highlighted the growing importance of hyper-personalization in the era of AI-generated content. “As users become increasingly selective due to the sheer volume of AI-driven messages, only the most relevant and engaging content will stand out,” Mittal explained, emphasizing the need for businesses to deliver truly personalized experiences.
Mittal and Hara, both seasoned professionals with a track record of driving growth at platforms like Twitter, Pinterest, and Tumblr, identified a critical gap in the market: the inability of businesses to swiftly adapt and optimize their messaging strategies. Traditional methods such as A/B testing and manual content creation have become outdated, proving too slow and inefficient in the face of rapidly changing user preferences. Just Words addresses this challenge by replacing static A/B tests with continuous, AI-driven optimization, ensuring that businesses can keep pace with the evolving demands of their audiences.
As Just Words continues to grow, this seed funding will be instrumental in expanding its technology and scaling its operations, positioning the company to lead the next generation of AI-driven marketing solutions.
