From One Day to Every Day – Zee TV’s #HappyWomensDayForever Campaign Sparks Conversations

With this powerful initiative, Zee TV challenges the fleeting nature of Women’s Day appreciation and advocates for continuous recognition of women’s contributions.

This year, Zee TV has gone beyond the conventional way of celebrating International Women’s Day with a thought-provoking initiative—#HappyWomensDayForever. Recognizing that women’s contributions and achievements deserve more than just a single day of acknowledgment, the channel has brought together its leading ladies for a compelling campaign video that extends the message of empowerment beyond March 8th.

Featuring Sriti Jha a.k.a. Amruta from Kaise Mujhe Tum Mil Gaye, Aishwarya Khare a.k.a Lakshmi from Bhagya Lakshmi, Rajashree Thakur a.k.a. Avani from Bas Itna Sa Khwaab, Pranali Rathod a.k.a Prarthana from Kumkum Bhagya, and Ayushi Khurana a.k.a. Reet from Jaane Anjaane Hum Mile, Priya Thakur a.k.a Vasudha from Vasudha, Rachana Mistry a.k.a Jagriti from Jagriti – Ek Nayi Subah and Simaran Kaur a.k.a Riddhi from Jamai No.1, the campaign challenges the fleeting nature of Women’s Day celebrations that are prevalent in today’s day and age. Through powerful storytelling and creative messaging, the video urges everyone to honour, respect, and support women every single day.

Zee TV took a unique route by posting a video a day after Women’s Day, asking poignant questions—what happens after Women’s Day? From Jagriti sarcastically bidding farewell to Women’s Day, to Amruta pointing out how ‘one-day empowerment stories’ have an expiry date, the video calls out the superficiality of short-lived gestures. Reet’s playful jab at one-day profile picture updates and Avani’s take on ordering food but still making women do the dishes further drive home the irony. Riddhi reminds us that after one day of ‘rest,’ there are still 364 days left, while Vasudha and Prarthana leave viewers with a lasting thought—Women’s Day isn’t a date; it’s a feeling that should be embraced every single dayWatch here

Through #HappyWomensDayForever, Zee TV extends a heartfelt tribute to all women who make the world a better place with their love, courage, and kindness. The campaign calls for daily recognition of their resilience and unwavering spirit, emphasizing that their stories inspire generations and shape lives.

Mangesh Kulkarni, Chief Channel Officer, Zee TV said, “At Zee TV, we believe that women’s contributions deserve recognition beyond just one day. Through #HappyWomensDayForever, we aim to drive a shift in mindset—where appreciation, respect, and empowerment for women are part of everyday life.
