KgeN launches nationwide campaign to empower the ‘next generation of gamers’

Kratos Gaming Network (KGeN), a community-led platform, has announced the exciting launch of a nationwide campaign to educate and empower a new generation of gamers about the world of Web3 gaming and its many benefits.

The campaign, spanning 6 months, will unfold across several cities including Mumbai, Delhi and Kolkata. It will target students and communities from several colleges and universities. With these dynamic activities, KGeN aims to spark awareness among young gaming enthusiasts, highlighting gaming as both a pastime and a gateway to future careers, personal growth and alternate income opportunities.

These activities range from student meetups featuring inspiring stories of creators, college competitions, and roundtable discussions with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) like educators, psychologists and others in the space who will provide fascinating insights into the landscape of gaming, dispelling misconceptions surrounding it as a viable career option by emphasizing the rise of web3 gaming and blockchain technology, equipping the young population with the confidence to pursue it as a career path.

Blockchain technology enhances player ownership by enabling gamers to have true ownership of in-game assets that can be bought, sold, and traded across different games and platforms. The platform has already enabled monetization for more than 1 million gamers and is expected to see a 20X increase in the number of gamers with this move.

KGeN has created the Proof-of-Gamer (PoG) engine, aka the largest pool of immutable data of gamers, making it the world’s largest gamer reputation program. It allows gamers to have ownership and rights to their data on chain and effortlessly allows them to monetize it as well. This is the first time that gamers will be allowed complete control of their data and who gets access to it.
