A CREATIVE AGENCY WON’T BE PITCHING THEIR IDEAS, BRANDS WILL

With most of the world returning to the original order after the pandemic era, many agencies have seen a rise in the number of business and campaign pitches that are no longer manageable.

As a result, one firm has requested that the clients submit the pitch instead. SuperHeroes New York, an independent marketing firm, produced “The Client Pitch,” which explains how brands can negotiate with one another to partner with the agency, flipping the traditional pitching mechanisms on their head. “We are, still, flipping the script. After months of hibernation, marketers are preparing to unleash ads that would stand out. We’re happy to assist, but there are only so many hours in a day.” said Rogier Vijverberg, SuperHeroes’ executive creative director and founder.

Brands will be asked to explain why they want to partake in the process, and four will be selected to pitch their brands to the firm. A score sheet has been created to rate each brand, with weightings of 50 percent for “bravery,” 20 percent for “collaboration,” and 10 percent for budget, pacing, and product service. The agency will pay a $500 pitch fee as a gift to NoKidHungry.org for any brand that advances to the pitch level.
