Facebook Tests Ads For Instagram Reel
Facebook has revealed that it is experimenting with targeting opportunities in Facebook In-Stream content, Instagram Reels Ads, and other marketing interactions in Facebook Stories. Starting today, it will roll out a global test of In-Stream Video Topics, which will enable marketers to put advertising in specific video topics via Ads Manager, allowing them to sync their brand message with material that is contextually important to their target audience.
Facebook says, "This test gives advertisers more choice in the video content they want their ads to appear in so they can reach engaged video viewer audiences."
Additionally, Facebook will be exploring personalized Sticker Ads for Facebook Stories with select marketers and developers in the coming weeks. These ads encourage developers to monetize their Facebook Stories by placing ads that look like stickers on them and receiving a cut of the sales.
