Twitter’s Super Follow Blueprint Shows What The Feature Is All About
After Twitter announced the launch of its new feature- Super Follow- that would enable creators to monetize their content on the app, users soon got a sneak peek into what the potential feature would look like.
App researcher Jane Manchun Wong shared screenshots of the potential feature and claimed that according to her research, the feature would be restricted to Twitter users having at least 10,000 followers with more than 25 tweets within the past 30 days and have attained the age of majority (18+). Wong also shared that one of the main features would be that of bonus content (exclusive tweets from the creators followed) which had also been shared by Twitter.
Through screenshots provided, Wong also shared the list of content categories that the Super Follow users could avail of ranging from lifestyle, activities, sports, beauty to comedy, podcasts, tech, photography, and even adult content. Users would also be privy to various “content platforms” like Facebook, Substack, Patreon, Twitch, YouTube, and even the adult content platform OnlyFans.
