#AgencyDissect: Admatazz

1. Who are we?

We are Admatazz, a digital marketing agency that uses creative backed by media, and technology to solve complex marketing problems for brands. The agency was founded by Yash Chandiramani in 2017, and it is headquartered in Mumbai. Today we are a team of approximately 65 marketing problem solvers.

2. What does the agency do?

We solve advertising and marketing problems with creative, media and technology for our clients. Our services fall under 3 categories.

  • Measure (assessing the problem with the help of data)
  • Create (content: audio, text, video, strategy, interfaces, digital products)
  • Amplify (media buying and planning, influencer marketing & performance lead generation)

3. What is the size and the strength of the company?

The agency consists of almost 65 members from various teams – Copy, Strategy, Design, Media, SEO, Influencer and Video.

4. What are the various services that your agency caters to?

We provide a gamut of services which include Marketing analytics, Creative strategy, Brand design, Content creation, Social media management, Digital Media ads (search, display, meta, programmatic, lead generation), Influencer marketing, UI/UX Design and SEO

5. Some notable clients and campaigns you’ve worked on?

Some of our recent Notable Campaigns are as below:

  1. Tata AIA – OOH – Wedding campaign that went viral in April
  2. Tata AIA commercials with Kenny Sebastian, Atul Khatri and Rahul Dua.
  3. BGauss Electric RUV – Breaking the world record

6. What makes your agency stand out from the rest?

We are a GenZ and young millennial digital agency that is proud to be old school in their marketing thinking. Admatazz is a new age digital agency that doesn’t start with execution, but defining the marketing problem instead. We don’t dive headfirst into collaborating with viral socialites or creating CGI that only industry folks will marvel at.

We know advertising and about 2.5 / 4 P’s of marketing as well. Theories and papers are discussed regularly in our office. Social media posts and SEO content is made keeping CEP’s in mind and our media and strategy team often quotes pointers from Byron Sharp or Binet and Field’s research when constructively arguing with a client.

We have our own framework for content strategy called the AWAK framework. Our copywriters understand the importance of talking to customers before they write a single headline. Heck, even our meme marketing plans have a reasoning and ultimate goal to improve certain brand metrics.

What makes us different is that we are young so we think new and fast but with the aim of solving marketing problems and not just temporary gimmicks.

7. What has been the biggest hurdle in your agency?

While retaining talent has never been a big problem (with exceptions to the rule), onboarding new talent as we grow has. There are very few people in love with the craft of advertising and marketing today.  While everyone wants to create the fun trendy stuff (we do too) fewer understand why and we are trying to change that one hire at a time.

8. What are some of the key future goals or projects that the agency is working towards?

While we offer influencer marketing, we are in the midst of building a complete influencer vertical that will work with management agencies, influencer directly in some cases and meme pages to handle end to end campaigns from the strategy, to scripting and shoot and distribution of influencer content. Brands often get a raw deal with no measurable metrics for influencer marketing, and we intend to empower them with the right strategy and impact analysis with every influencer campaign.

9. How has the company culture affected overall performance?

We very early on created a value system that acts like a guiding book to our teammates at their time in Admatazz. We are serious marketers but not serious people otherwise at all. Walk into the office and you will see that the most serious time of the day is when people are deciding what to order for lunch. We always maintain that we are not building rockets so it’s okay to strive for a good work life balance. This has shown in our performance over the years. We have grown fast and grown well. And it has fostered an environment of collaboration. Every single employee survey or exit interview has always stated how impressive our culture of collaboration is. No one will see you struggle and not make your problem their own at Admatazz.
