Launched in 2013, SoCheers – short for Social Cheers, is a lean, but not-so-mean Digital Marketing Agency.

1. Who are we?

We’re SoCheers, a bunch of creative enthusiasts, who dream, strategise and execute the best of innovative work for the brands we partner with. Storytelling with digital-first thinking is the heart of what we do. While our aim is to be on the top of digital and marketing trends, we are passionate about setting them. To sum it up in one line, we like setting trends rather than chasing them! #CheersSquad (what we fondly like to call ourselves) is dedicated to delivering award-winning campaigns that leave a lasting impact.

2. What does the agency do?

We are a bunch of inquisitive marketing experts who do everything ‘creative in the digital space’. Being an independently owned digital-first creative agency that crafts compelling strategies and content to elevate our client partners’ business, we work with both international and national clients. Based in the heart of Mumbai, we take pride in partnering with over 450+ clients since our inception and have a roster of 100+ brands across various industry sectors. Some of these include Croma, Havmor, Diageo, Asian Paints, Dream11, Godrej Interio, JioCinema, Amazon Prime Video India, Star Group, Sony Pictures Entertainment India and BGMI, among others. Talking about awards, we’ve received recognitions for our outstanding work from the most noteworthy forums, both national and international, including The Webby Awards, Spikes Asia, Goafest Abby Awards, MMA Smarties, IAMAI India Digital Awards, Kyoorius and Campaign India Digital Crest Awards, amongst others.

3. What is the size and the strength of the company?

Established in 2013 with a team of two, SoCheers today is a creative powerhouse with 250+ young and dynamic professionals driving the narrative and consistently delivering innovative, ground-breaking campaigns, aiming to make a significant impact while setting some serious industry benchmarks.

4. What are the various services that your agency caters to?

SoCheers offers a wide gamut of services in the digital realm, backed by transformation, creativity, innovation and a whole lot of cheer. This also includes digital strategy, social media marketing, influencer & outreach management, content & production, design, social listening, data, research & analytics, media strategy & planning and more! Given our knack for constantly learning and growing, led us to establish our key business verticals, specially designed to cater to the clients’ requirements, in a forever changing advertising world. The research and data analysis done by the Digital Intelligence & Analytics (DIA) Division, has helped create specialised playbooks and significantly maximised our clients’ outputs. Additionally, our films division SoCheers Films, has been scaling up on a mind-blowing average of 75% per year, since its inception in 2016.

5. Some notable clients and campaigns you’ve worked on?

We are ecstatic about the fact that we’ve partnered with over 450+ Indian and international brands since our inception and now have a strong clientele of more than 100+ brands which include some noteworthy names like Croma, Havmor, Diageo, Asian Paints, Dream11, Godrej Interior, JioCinema, Amazon Prime Video India, Star Group, Sony Pictures Entertainment India and BGMI, to name a few. Over the past few years, we’ve augmented our creative capabilities by blending crisp and intense storytelling, incorporating the latest technologies for digital marketing to construct meaningful and impactful campaigns which gives us an edge over our competition. Our campaigns like Amazon miniTV’s Karan Badtameez Hai, Hunter: Tootega Nahi Todega, Half CA – ITR & LinkedIn, Belgian Waffles National Waffle Day, Zipcare’s Diwali festive campaign, boAt’s Marvel, Wacoal’s Breast Cancer Awareness campaign, Amazon Prime Video’s Bambai Meri Jaan in collaboration with Yashraj Mukhate, Netflix’s TGIKS Watch Now Promo (aa gaya), Reliance General Insurance’s Women’s Day, PokemonGo’s Hindi launch, BGMI’s Dhadkane Hogi Tez, Yes Bank’s Life ko Banao Rich, Amazon Prime Video’s ‘Match’ Made in Heaven, The Family Man’s Job Hunt, Mirzapur S2 – Purvanchal Ke Samachar, etc., has received insane love and appreciation from the audience, produced definite and bold results for these brands.

7. What has been the biggest hurdle in your agency?

As a digital-first creative agency, SoCheers encounters several challenges due to the ever-evolving digital landscape and also changing consumer dynamics. Hence, it’s imperative for us to be on our toes and stay a-top of our competition and set the industry trends. One such prominent challenge that the advertising industry is facing is hiring and talent retention. Agencies with a people-first approach strives to facilitate its employees with a work culture that promotes innovation, efficiency and creativity. In order to address this hurdle, we at SoCheers have been consistently working towards maintaining our work culture to attract the top talent.

8. What are some of the key future goals or projects that the agency is working towards?

● Our industry is extremely dynamic in nature. A need today wouldn’t be in consideration tomorrow. Hence, our approach has always been flexible and we come up with solutions that are need-based.
● We are committed to incorporating attractive work culture and a vibrant environment. Our people-led initiatives and policies are enhanced with passing time where improvements are required.
