5. Some notable clients and campaigns you’ve worked on?

Some notable clients include Tata Sons, Tata Projects,  NIC Ice Cream, OZiva, Hilton Hotels, to name a few.

Some notable campaigns include:

#NICSummerLeague:

The #NICSummerLeague was an IPL ‘Predict & Win’ Contest launched during the IPL Season of 2022 and 2023. The goal of the campaign was primarily to increase Followers and Engagement.

As part of the campaign, we designed custom team names and logos using the brand’s ice cream variants – aligned with the actual IPL teams such as Lucknow Paan, Chennai Tender Coconut, Delhi Gulab Jamun, Hyderabad Sheer Kurma, etc.

During the campaign, the content reached 3.97 million unique users on social media, with a total of 7.62 million impressions. People engaged with the content 208,000 times, and 3,600 people entered the campaign’s contest through social media.

During the campaign, we generated 3,283 orders at Rs. 9.61 per purchase. We made a revenue of Rs. 4.2L on a spend of Rs. 32k, which is an average 13.32 ROAS

#WrapUpHunger With Asahi Kasei:

The ‘Wrap Up Hunger With Asahi Kasei’ initiative was introduced to tackle two major issues in India: food waste and classroom hunger. The primary objective was to provide a tangible solution to the problems of food waste and classroom hunger, while also raising awareness and inspiring action through social media.

We recognized that social media is a powerful tool for raising awareness and inspiring action – which is why, we urged the brand’s followers to share pictures of their wrapped up food on social media using the hashtag #WrapUpHungerWithAsahiKasei. For every picture posted, Asahi Kasei fed three underprivileged school children in partnership with The Akshaya Patra Foundation.

During the 8-month duration of the campaign, we received 1,300+ Facebook entries and around 300 Instagram entries – all of which have helped us fill the plates of 92,000 underprivileged kids.

The active participation of people led to a significant impact on social media. Collectively, their posts had a reach of over 4.67M, more than 6.5M impressions, and over 123k engagements.

6. What makes your agency stand out from the rest?

Apart from winning numerous awards for our Social Media and Performance Marketing work, we are proud to be able to achieve marketing objectives for our clients via our Pill-O-Sophy of Creativity Meets Performance. We are structured as 2 mini agencies within 1, that work together to make sure we get the best possible outcome for our clients.

7. What has been the biggest hurdle in your agency?

As our clientele grows, scaling our team along with training and onboarding programs to ensure all new hires are adequately prepared and integrated into our processes has been challenging. Currently,  the pace of clientele onboarding is more than onboarding new team members which we’re working towards solving.

Additionally, managing client payments has posed its own set of challenges. Ensuring timely payments while maintaining strong client relationships requires a delicate balance. Occasionally, delays in client payments can impact our cash flow and create hurdles in our operational efficiency.

8. What are some of the key future goals or projects that the agency is working towards?

Our 3 main goals are that we’re already working towards are:

Innovation in AI:

We’ve been making significant inroads in creating and curating AI tools to help our team do great work more creatively and efficiently. Most recently we created a GPT Tool that would help advertisers create content for the MIB Self Declaration forms. We’re also making significant progress when it comes to regional content creation and this is just the beginning.

Geographic Expansion:

We plan to extend our presence beyond India, targeting key international markets to tap into new client bases and opportunities.

Talent Development:
We are focused on nurturing and developing our talent pool, ensuring our team has access to the latest training and resources to stay ahead.

9. How has the company culture affected overall performance?

Our company culture at Social Pill, which emphasizes creativity, collaboration, and continuous learning, has been instrumental in driving our overall performance. By fostering an environment where team members feel valued, empowered, and inspired, we encourage innovative thinking and proactive problem-solving.

Most importantly we’re working very hard to ensure that each team member’s individuality is incorporated into the work they do without creating too many restrictions. We’re also working towards ways where each person’s creativity can be expressed by creating a platform for the same.
