Who wore it best?
US billionaire Ekon Musk has set social media aflame with an AI-generated video showcasing world leaders and prominent personalities walking down the runaway in futuristic fashion attire.
Posted by Musk on his social media platform X, the video began with Pope Francis strutting down the ramp in a white puffer jacket. It included the likes of US President Joe Biden in sunglasses and a wheelchair, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi in a vibrant multicolored outfit, Russian President Vladimir Putin in an off-shoulder Luis Vuitton outfit, North Korean leader Kim Jong Un in a baggy sweatshirt and large gold necklace, and Elon Musk himself in a futuristic Tesla and X-themed superhero outfit. Other prominent figures included Barack Obama, Kamala Harris, Donald Trump, Mark Zuckerberg, Jeff Bezos and Tim Cook, among others.
“High time for an AI fashion show,” Musk wrote as a caption.

Shared on 22nd July, the video has garnered over 62.3 million views on X alone within a few hours after its release. It has also taken the internet by storm and ignited an explosive wave of reactions, from compliments to criticisms to humor.
“That’s brilliant and scary at the same time,” an X user wrote.
“Good stuff right here! We need some humour around here. This is the funniest video I’ve seen in a long time. Bravo,” another added.
However, some light-heartedly joked about some of Elon Musk’s fashion choices regarding certain figures, including himself:

Yet another reaction resolved around the ever-growing debate of AI and its evolving but potentially dangerous capabilities. Despite Musk’s virtual fashion show being a cavalier form of entertainment, it nonetheless displayed the many complications that AI might incur in the future.
This spectacle follows the recent “Miss AI” competition where Kenza Layli, a virtual influencer from Morocco, was crowned the winner.
