AI Startup Edmund Secures €500K Pre-Seed Funding to Drive Global Expansion

Edmund, an AI-driven manufacturing solutions startup based in Ostrava, Czech Republic, has raised €500,000 in pre-seed funding to fuel its international expansion.

The funding round was led by Lighthouse Ventures, with additional support from Czech Founders VC, Borovicka Capital, and Tensor Ventures. With this fresh capital, Edmund aims to broaden its reach beyond Central Europe, forging partnerships with global manufacturing leaders to scale its AI-driven solutions.

Founded in 2023 by Jakub Szlaur, Benjamin Przeczek, and Miroslav Marek, Edmund specializes in AI-based troubleshooting and maintenance solutions designed to optimize efficiency in manufacturing environments. By combining advanced AI models with industry expertise, the platform empowers engineers and technicians to streamline operations, reduce downtime, and enhance overall productivity.

Despite being a young startup, Edmund has already onboarded four paying customers, including industry giants Festo and Vitesco Technologies. These early successes highlight the growing demand for AI-driven automation and predictive maintenance within the global manufacturing sector.

With its latest funding, Edmund is set to accelerate innovation and expand its market presence, positioning itself as a key player in the AI-driven transformation of the manufacturing industry. As it continues to grow, the company aims to revolutionize industrial troubleshooting, making factories more efficient, cost-effective, and technologically advanced.
