Burger King India Lights Up Diwali with Creative AI Campaign #BurgerKingSwaadKaPatakha

Burger King India is embracing the festive season with a Diwali campaign like no other. Titled #BurgerKingSwaadKaPatakha, the initiative combines taste and technology, offering customers the chance to personalize packaging for their favorite menu items with firecracker-inspired designs.

By blending the flavors Burger King is known for with the excitement of Diwali fireworks, this campaign brings an interactive and colorful twist to the dining experience.

The campaign revolves around a dedicated microsite,http://burgerkingswaadkapatakha.com/ –  where customers can select from six popular Burger King menu items and customize their packaging with a range of firecracker themes. Powered by AI, the experience allows guests to create unique designs for items like the Whopper, which they can then share on social media by tagging Burger King India and using #BurgerKingSwaadKaPatakha. In the spirit of Diwali, those who participate also stand a chance to win a Free Whopper, merging festive excitement with a tasty reward.

Burger King India’s Chief Marketing Officer, Kapil Grover, highlighted the inspiration behind the campaign, stating, “Burger King is all about delivering big, bold flavors, and this Diwali we wanted to engage with our customers in a way that’s both interactive and celebratory. #BurgerKingSwaadKaPatakha lets our fans be creative, adding a touch of fun to their meals and connecting them with the spirit of the season through personalized designs.”

Anupama Ramaswamy, Joint MD and Chief Creative Officer at Havas Creative India, shared the creative vision for the campaign: “This initiative is a beautiful mix of tradition and technology. Using AI, we’re inviting customers to add a festive spark to their meals and celebrate togetherness through a flavorful experience that’s uniquely Diwali.”

The campaign launched with teasers on Instagram starting October 28, gradually revealing the festive packaging designs to build anticipation. From October 28 through November 1, the full campaign rollout on Instagram will showcase the variety of custom designs made by Burger King fans. By encouraging customers to craft their own designs, Burger King India is transforming a meal into a memorable, festive celebration.
