Cannes 2024: L’Oreal Paris returns as its official makeup partner

L’Oreal Paris, a global beauty brand, returns as the official makeup partner of the Festival de Cannes. With a history as the glamorous festival’s makeup partner, L’Oreal enters its 27th year with the theme ‘Many Ways To Be An Icon‘, which celebrates the brand’s philosophy of empowerment and self-confidence.

This year, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Aditi Rao Hydari are all set to dazzle the Cannes Film Festival with their presence. A pioneer in her own right, Aishwarya was the first Indian female actor to serve as a Cannes jury member, symbolizing the brand’s dedication to representation. Their participation is a testament to their talent and beauty as well as the ever-growing influence of Indian cinema on a global stage.

L’Oreal Paris ambassador Aditi Rao Hydari expressed her excitement, saying, “I am thrilled to embark on this journey to the esteemed Festival de Cannes as the spokesperson for L’Oreal Paris. Additionally, L’Oreal presents the fourth edition of its iconic ‘L’Oreal Paris Lights on Women’s Worth Award‘. Founded to spotlight the gender imbalance in filmmaking, this award honors one dynamic and promising female short-film director from among official Cannes Short Films selection and the selection of La Cinef Short Films. This year, actress and L’Oreal Paris ambassador Elle Fanning will take over from Kate Winslet as the Juror.

Through their partnership with L’Oreal Paris, these brand ambassadors aim to transcend boundaries and echo the brand’s ethos of self-worth and beauty that resonates with women across the globe, inspiring millions worldwide to embrace their own individuality.
