Popular comedian Zakir Khan will soon make his television debut with a new program called Aapka Apna Zakir.
The show, which will air on Sony TV, will reportedly provide an “enthralling experience that combines laughter, shaayari, and zindagi ke nuskhe into one compelling package”, as per PTI.

Zakir’s announcement has unleashed a wave of excitement and congratulations on social media, including responses from fellow popular creators like Bhuvan Bam, Yashraj Mukhate, Funcho, Rajat Sood, and Sonal Kaushal, among others. It has also provoked praise from fans.
“Finally you are here Zakir Bhai,” one wrote. “Big big congratulations. Hope you break the record of our beloved Kapil Sharma!”
Another wrote, “This is big. Congratulations to Zakir Khan for this career milestone and us audiences. We desperately need some good entertainment on television. There’s hardly any family time together like KBC and Kapil Sharma show these days.”
Zakir Khan is known for winning Comedy Central’s India’s Best Stand Up competition in 2012. He is also notable for playing the role of Ronny in Prime Video series Chacha Vidhayak Hain Humare, where he is the main character. Additionally, he appeared on Prime Video’s stand-up program Mann Pasand, where he discussed his friendships with boys, relationships with girls, and one fateful vacation to Goa.
