Cornitos, the forerunning brand of Greendot Health foods Pvt Ltd, has set the internet on fire by announcing the launch of their newest, wildest mascot: “Corny-the uncooperative Chimp”.
This will be part of their new campaign titled “Cornitos – Wild As You Like”, which promotes their message of embracing the wild side. Who better to embody this than the loveable and mischievous Corny the Chimp?
Their campaign includes two teaser films along with a brand mascot launch film. It starts off in a sophisticated conference room, where recommendations for potential mascots are met with entertaining flashbacks of daring adventures and hilarious rejections. These teasers end with a tantalising “To be continued…”, making their viewers desperate for more. It’s then that Corny the Chimp is officially introduced on an auditorium stage as their mischievous and uncooperative mascot.
A 360-day degree campaign has been deployed to promote Corny as the new brand mascot, and he will officially be featured in all brand communications, including digital platforms, retail spaces and print media.
The “Cornitos – Wild As You Like” campaign truly captures the wild, adventurous, spirited essence of the brand, inviting customers to explore their innovative range of delicious, delightful snacks. The introduction of Corny the Chimp as a brand mascot was a similarly masterful decision, adding fun and flavour to what would have otherwise been a far more conventional campaign, and will undoubtedly strongly appeal to younger children.
The campaign officially went live on July 7th, 2023.
