Kusha Kapila and Uorfi have joined Myntra for an unexpected new collab. Taking to social media, both content creators posted their resumes with bright pink backgrounds, declaring that they are searching for new jobs in different fields.

“Open to work as a wedding planner,” Kusha wrote. “Ghodi chahiye? vintage car? chalke aana hai? I’ll do it all.”

The reason? As Kusha Kapila wrote: “Myntra’s EORS has taken away my fashion & beauty influence – this is my only option!”

“31st May is literally right around the corner aur mera fashion influence khatre mein hai,” Uorfi added. “Abhi bhuke pet ko toh sambhaal na hi hai…this is the next best thing for me.”

Myntra replied to their posts by saying: “Oops, we may have shaken the fashion world a bit too much.”

With this campaign, Myntra aims to emphasize how it has made international brands so accessible and affordable to Indian users that it’s ruining the game for beauty and fashion influencers everywhere. By collaborating with Kusha and Uorfi, some of the most popular creators out there, Myntra will be able to drive home its point while also leveraging both influencers’ immense fan base to promote its End of Reason Sale.

This campaign mirrors the approach Myntra took with Shah Rukh Khan, Karan Johar and Kiara Advani a few days ago, where Karan pretended to lament Myntra’s success as it would steal his thunder.

Myntra’s bold approach to marketing has scored points with its followers. “Hahaha soooo creative!” one user wrote. Many users also praised the humor in both creators’ resumes, particularly Uorfi’s decision to claim that she received her education from “University of Yapping”.

“Your advertisement has more sensible points than my actual resume!” a user complimented.
