YouTuber and engineer Gaurav Chaudary got the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to meet and interact with Google CEO Sundar Pichai.

“Who knew @sundarpichai was such a big fan of Technical Guruji,” he wrote on Instagram, posting a photograph of the two of them. “Jokes aside, @sundarpichai said that for many AI tools and Google’s user products, India is the number one country in terms of user base. India is also well positioned for the AI shift we’re seeing happening around us.”

Nor was Gaurav the only content creator who got this opportunity. At Google I/O, Bengaluru content creator and AI enthusiast Varun Mayya also got the opportunity to interact with the Google CEO. Taking to X (formerly Twitter), he shared a photograph of their encounter, depicting them engaged in an insightful discussion.

This interaction followed Mayya’s earlier post on X where he mused about the opinions of tech enthusiasts on Data Structures and Algorithms (DSA) problems particularly in the context of preparations for FAANG (Facebook, Amazon, Apple, Netflix, Alphabet and Google) interviews.

Indian journalist and entrepreneur Shradha Sharma also shared memories of her encounter with Pichai, sharing that she had accidentally introduced him incorrectly and writing that he was “incredibly encouraging, grounded, and humble.”
