Stand-up comedian Sumukhi Suresh is all set to perform at the prestigious Edinburgh Fringe Festival, the world’s most renowned open-access performing arts event spans from 31st of July to the 11th of August.

Sumukhi will be bringing her hilarious stand-up show “Hoemonal” to the stage, where she will talk about subjects like dating after 30, hormones, PCOS, and the price of being an ambitious and independent woman.

Dubbed as “India’s Tina Fey” by the Hindustan Times, Sumukhi Suresh has been a part of several stand-up comedy shows, including Comicstaan, Go Straight Take Left, Comedy premier League and her solo special, Don’t Tell Amma. She is best known for her humorous and twisted web series, ‘Pushpavalli’. She has additionally turned entrepreneur by launching a content platform called ‘Motormouth’, which is much sought-after by writers who are passionate about pitching stories for movies, web shows, and more.

Sumukhi initially began writing Hoemonal during the pandemic with the goal to grow her audience. Now, having secured a spot at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, she is one step closer to fulfilling her dream.
