Gurugram, 11, March 2025: Cut&Style, one of India’s fastest-growing salon chains, proudly partnered with the Municipal Corporation of Gurugram (MCG) as the official Styling Partner for the “Aparajita – Humse Hai Gurugram” event, held on International Women’s Day, March 8th, 2025.
The event was a unique and inspiring initiative by MCG, honoring and celebrating the remarkable contributions of female municipal employees, particularly sanitation workers. It was held at Chaudhary Surendra Singh Pavilion, Tau Devi Lal Stadium, and featured cultural performances by female sanitation workers, highlighting India’s diversity through dance forms from various states. Municipal Commissioner Ashok Kumar Garg graced the event with his presence, emphasizing the corporation’s commitment to women’s empowerment and acknowledging the invaluable contributions of female sanitation workers. The organizers also facilitated the team cut&style salon with an award for styling the female municipal employees.
The event also featured a shared meal between dignitaries, representatives from various organizations, and sanitation workers, promoting equality and social harmony. Cut&Style is proud to have contributed to this meaningful celebration of International Women’s Day. This partnership with MCG allowed the salon chain to extend its services to a hitherto unrecognized group of women and appreciate their contribution to building an inclusive society.
