Google elevates Sanjay Gupta as APAC president
In the interim, Roma Datta Chobey will take on Gupta’s role and lead the India LCS team.
Google has announced the elevation of Sanjay Gupta as APAC president. He was country head and vice president and joined the company in 2020. Scott Beaumont, former president, APAC, Google, took to LinkedIn to announce Gupta’s elevated role and his retirement.
In the interim, Roma Datta Chobey will take on Gupta’s role and lead the India LCS team, as per sources.
She was managing director – digital native industries, media, entertainment and government. Chobey joined Google in 2015 as head of industry classifieds and gaming.
