Google India has appointed Shekar Khosla as its VP-marketing.
With almost three decades worth of experience on his shoulders, Khosla is undoubtedly well-suited to the role. He joins after his almost nine-year tenure in Kellogg Company, where he worked as the chief commercial officer (digital transformation, revenue growth management, sales and marketing).
Prior to that, Khosla worked with Unilever for over 20 years in various different capacities.
Khosla’s new appointment was enthusiastically welcomed by the leadership of Google India. Simon Kahn, Vice President, Marketing for Asia Pacific at Google Vice President, took to LinkedIn to express his. Complimenting Khosla, he said: “He is a strong advocate of inclusion and allyship, which is central to our Culture at Google. Joining us from Kellogg, Shekar has a proven track record of delivering spectacular results with experience in Sales and Marketing holding senior leadership positions including at Unilever. I can’t wait for him to start and work with our enormously creative, committed, and high performance teams in India!”
With a wealth of experience on his side, he will indisputably be able to meet the high standards of Google India and accomplish their goals with precision.
