GreenStitch, a cutting-edge SaaS platform tailored to the needs of the fashion and textile industry, has successfully raised $1.2 million in a seed funding round.
Spearheaded by Equirus InnovateX Fund, the funding initiative also garnered support from Ivycap Ventures, Warmup Ventures, and Zeca Ventures, among others.
Adding further credibility to the round, several renowned climate and fashion experts participated as investors, including Anshuman Bapna (founder of Terra.do), Sumit Jain (CTO of Zalora), Pankaj Vermani (founder of Clovia), Amit Kumar (founder of NoBroker), and Senthil Sankar (founder of Ecoline).
This fresh infusion of capital will fuel GreenStitch’s ambitions to enhance its team, refine its product offerings, and develop a comprehensive database for the fashion and textile sector.
Founded by Narendra Makwana and Arpit Samdani, GreenStitch addresses critical gaps in sustainability within the fashion industry. By integrating directly with enterprise ERP and PLM systems, the platform consolidates information from multiple supply chain tiers, identifies missing data, and leverages AI and machine learning to fill these gaps. This advanced methodology allows for accurate Scope 3 GHG emission calculations, even when datasets are incomplete.
Beyond emission tracking, GreenStitch empowers businesses with tools for decarbonization and predictive modeling. These capabilities enable brands to assess the environmental impact of design and supplier decisions early in the production process. By identifying ESG risks and enabling proactive adjustments, the platform supports companies in achieving sustainability goals more effectively.
GreenStitch’s innovative approach aligns with the growing demand for sustainable practices in fashion, an industry often criticized for its environmental footprint. With the backing of prominent investors and climate-focused entrepreneurs, the platform is well-positioned to lead the charge in creating transparent and eco-conscious supply chains.
This funding marks a pivotal moment for GreenStitch as it continues to pave the way for a greener, more responsible fashion industry
