Imran Khan has opened up about his Bollywood comeback and the inspiration behind his acting.
The actor all set to return to Indian cinema with an upcoming romantic comedy directed by Danish Aslam, which will eventually be released on an OTT platform.
Making his return after a nearly decade-long absence, one burning question remains on everyone’s minds: what inspired his much-anticipated comeback? In a recent episode of Aleena Dissects, the Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na actor gave an unexpected response.
“It’s the universe, actually,” he said.
While Imran admitted he was not a particularly spiritual or religious person, he revealed that he has embraced a new philosophical perspective on life and destiny.
“I have really, increasingly started to believe in the idea that the universe just kind of throws things together, and let’s see what happens,” he explained, likening his return to the public life and the movies to a chemical reaction.
“This has been the universe, time and again, just showing up at my door, knocking on the door, and saying, ‘The bus is going. You want to get on the bus?’ It’s a series of events that just kind of showed up at the right time. I just have to say yes. I just had to answer the door.”
