In the clip, one can see the robot being unveiled on stage, and can also see it interacting with children inside a classroom. A text insert on the video informs viewers that the AI teacher has become the ‘closest pals’ of students at the school.
According to a DNA report, Iris can move, interact and answer the students’ questions, and can teach subjects from nursery to Class 12. It currently speaks in three languages – English, Hindi and Malayalam – and the developers are planning to expand this to over 20 languages. Additionally, Iris also has the ability to block inappropriate content like drugs and violence.
