“The OG traveller is back!”
Goibibo has launched its second digital film in collaboration with Bollywood actress Kareena Kapoor, reprising her role as “Geet” from Jab We Met.
The ad opens with a scene reminiscent of the film, depicting Geet and Aditya stranded in Ratlam after missing their train with Shahid’s role being plaed by another girl. The two friends encounter a dingy hotel named Hotel Descent. Mirroring Geet’s demeanor, Kareena’s character confronts the receptionist, expressing dismay over the accommodations. Her friend then suggests using the GoIbibo app for a better alternative.
Conceptualized by the creative agency Talented, this film is an extension of the brand’s “Hotels Aise on Goibibo, Full Marks by Bebo” campaign.
