While the pandemic is ever on the rise, the financial burden it brought along has forced governments to open up economies once again. As we slowly unlock the country, we must be wary of the virus, more so than ever. Compromising on the safety at this point could be dangerous. Awareness and education might be the only way forward.
At such a time, McDonald’s India-South and West came up with the perfect campaign called #RonaldSays to help raise awareness. Its lovable mascot Ronald McDonald encouraged people to maintain social distancing and to always wear masks while stepping outside to keep themselves and people around them safe. Every Ronald McDonald statue across all McDonald’s outlets can now be seen sporting a mask to encourage safe practices. McDonald’s will also be stepping up its hygiene measures to promote safety against the virus.
