A 23-year-old entrepreneur has sparked a heated online debate following his controversial guide towards achieving a “dream life”.
Delhi-based Kushal Arora has highlighted the sacrifices he made in pursuit of success, which included long working hours and sleepless nights.
“I am 23 years old, earning over $500,000 annually. While others my age were partying, I was working sleepless nights, missing out on social activities, and dealing with failures. But I made that choice,” he wrote, aiming to inspire others.

I’m 23yrs old earning over $5,00,000 annually.
When students of my age were partying & chilling, I was:
– Having sleepless nights working
– Missing social events
– Dealing with failures/rejection

The Internet Reacts:
Arora’s post has gone viral and received a wave of backlash from social media users, who accused him of glorifying unhealthy habits in the pursuit of success and wealth. Many also expressed worry that his words could create unwanted pressure on younger generations from his age-group.
“You lived your life, they are living theirs. Not everyone dreams of earning so much, stop making it a fancy show off. You worked hard, you got your money. Live with it. Stop creating that pressure for the younger lot that if they don’t earn this much, they are useless,” a user wrote.
Another challenged his thought process and wrote, “Just because this approach worked for you doesn’t mean it applies to everyone. There are different paths to success, and not everyone should be forced to chase wealth at the expense of everything else.
Arora took the time to defend his position and explain his reasoning.
“I am just sharing my journey of retiring my parents when I was just 19, if that’s creating any pressure on the youth they can happily mute my content,” he wrote. “But my target audience is youth looking for motivation.”
“Your tonality is not motivating then!” X user Mayank Sehgal argued in response, wishing him well for his future.
Another user questioned the validity of Arora’s claims, arguing that they were merely to gain traction and followers.
“He is just trying to gain some more followers, all these SEO and online marketing accounts do that, nothing new in that and moreover the amount what he has mentioned is absolutely fake.”
This argument comes amid an ongoing debate on India’s work culture, which many have deemed toxic and unsustainable.
