Menstrual Hygiene Day: Pee Sale debunks menstrual myths in a new campaign

#PeriodFriendlyWorld

Pee Safe, a personal hygiene and wellness brand, has launched a dynamic video campaign in honor of Menstrual Hygiene Day. With the devastating statistic that 8 in 10 women are silenced by social barriers when it comes to talking about periods, Pee Safe’s campaign aims to break this silence and start meaningful conversations around the topic.

Centered around the hashtag #PeriodFriendlyWorld, Pee Safe employs humor to engage the public, debunk myths, and initiate open discussions about menstrual health. It aligns with the global theme of creating a safer environment for menstruaters and seeks to educate and connect with a broader audience, highlighting the accessibility and benefits of Pee Safe’s menstrual hygiene products.

Key components of the campaign include humorous video content, engaging social media initiatives with informative content shared across various platforms, and influencer collaborations with over 300 influencers that aim to amplify Pee Safe’s message and reach a wider audience.

“It is the need of the hour to ensure that everyone understands that menstruation is a natural, normal part of life and not something to be ashamed of,” Pee Safe wrote. “Talking openly about menstruation with friends, family, and colleagues can help break down myths and stigma. By ensuring access to menstrual products, advocating for policy changes, and amplifying the voices of those affected, we can create a more inclusive environment where periods are openly discussed and respected. Together, we can make a difference. Let’s normalize periods, one conversation at a time.”

We envision a world where periods are treated with the respect and normalcy they deserve,” said Vikas Bagaria, founder at Pee Safe. “By challenging norms and fostering open dialogue, we aim to achieve a more supportive and period-friendly world for all.”

As part of the campaign, Pee Safe will distribute around 5,500 samples of Ultra-Thin Sanitary Pads across India, ensuring widespread access to quality menstrual products. This initiative supports their long-term vision for menstrual hygiene and women’s health. It also builds on the success of their ongoing Haq Se Period campaign, which has already distributed over 2 million menstrual products and conducted over 370 awareness sessions in more than 90 cities.

Pee Safe’s campaign has been met with a positive response from consumers. “Totally love the products and a great initiative to talk about periods without shame, thats really true,” one user wrote. “We really need to normalise periods now! And Pee safe products are actually saviour for every girl,” another praised.
