Meta has announced the launch of its Meta Verified subscription plans for businesses on Facebook and Instagram in India.
The Meta Verified plan for businesses will offer them a verified badge, enhanced account support, impersonation protection, and additional features to support discovery and connection, according to Meta.
The tech giant launched a pilot program for its business plan last year with a small test to understand the scope of its offerings and how it can offer the most valuable toolkit to help businesses achieve their goals. Earlier this year, Meta also expanded their initial test from one subscription plan to four. The company followed this up by launching Meta Verified for businesses on WhatsApp just last month.
“Business owners have told Meta that they value the ability to get verified because it helps provide credibility and gives customers more confidence to engage with them. In fact, the verified badge continues to be one of the top reported reasons for subscribing to Meta Verified,” Meta’s statement added.
Now, enterprises and entrepreneurs have the option to either purchase Meta Verified for Facebook, Instagram or WhatsApp, or do a bundled purchase for just Facebook and Instagram.
The Meta Verified Plan starts at just ₹639 for a single app per month and goes up to ₹ 21,000, which is an introductory discounted rate for two apps per month, according to the company.
