ODA Class Secures $500K in Series B Funding to Boost EdTech Expansion

ODA Class, a Bengaluru-based edtech startup, has successfully raised $500,000 in its Series B funding round. 

The round saw participation from prominent investors, including Skywalker Education Technology Company (Singapore), Daituzi Education Technology Corporation, and Matrix Partners China. This latest infusion brings the total funding raised by ODA Class to $12.75 million, marking another significant milestone for the rapidly growing company.

Founded in 2019, ODA Class has swiftly positioned itself as a key player in the online education space, offering live courses for students from classes 1 to 10. Leveraging cutting-edge AI technologies and innovative marketing strategies, the platform aims to deliver high-quality education to a broad audience. The company’s focus on engaging, interactive content, delivered by educators from prestigious institutions like IITs and NITs, has already attracted over 25,000 students. Now, with its eyes set on enrolling 100,000 students, ODA Class is gearing up for its next phase of growth.

This recent $500K funding follows a series of successful rounds for ODA Class. In March 2020, the startup received an undisclosed amount in its pre-Series A round from Yuanfudao, a Chinese education giant. Subsequent rounds included $9 million raised in 2021, $3 million in 2022, and a smaller $250,000 round in 2023. The consistent investor interest highlights the strong potential and trust in ODA Class’s business model and growth strategy.

According to media reports, the fresh capital will be strategically allocated to several key areas, with a particular focus on digital marketing. By enhancing its brand visibility and expanding its reach, ODA Class aims to connect with an even broader audience, solidifying its presence in the highly competitive edtech sector.

ODA Class’s financial performance further underscores its robust growth trajectory. The company reported revenues of ₹26.90 crore for FY22, which nearly doubled to ₹63.76 crore in FY23. In FY24, ODA Class achieved a revenue of ₹65.81 crore, reflecting its ability to sustain and build on its growth momentum.

As ODA Class continues to expand its offerings and scale its operations, the company is well-positioned to make a lasting impact on the education landscape in India.
