Defending champion Neeraj Chopra is preparing for the javelin throw event at the Paris Olympics 2024 on August 6th, representing the hope of millions of Indians.

Amid the high anticipation, Atlys CEO Mohak Nahta has made surprising announcement. Taking to LinkedIn, he declared that if Neeraj Chopra would win a gold medal at the Olympics, he would personally provide a free visa to everyone.

This provoked an explosive reaction from followers, with many expressing both excitement and disbelief at the announcement. However, Mohak Nahta took to LinkedIn once again to clarify his statement and reaffirm his commitment.

“On 30th July, I promised everyone a free visa if Neeraj Chopra wins Gold. Since a lot of you asked for details, here is how it will work: Neeraj Chopra competes for medals on 8th Aug. If he bags Gold, we will offer one free Visa to all users for one entire day,” he wrote.

Nahta added that the Visa would be available at “Zero” cost and would cover “all countries”. He emphasized that users would need to follow specific steps to benefit from the offer.

The Atlys CEO has invited users to share their email addresses in the comments so the Atlys team can create their free accounts with free credits.

What did LinkedIn users think about the post?

Nahta’s post has received over 3000 comments, with users praising his initiative.

“Wow, impressive! Go India, just don’t settle just with one Gold,” wrote a LinkedIn user.

“Awesome initiative Mohak, gesture of encouragement to Neeraj and the fans expecting Gold at the Olympics. Awaiting Gold desperately,” another user added.

Another user wrote: “That’s a great gesture, Mohak. Most important feeling is to see Neeraj achieving the Gold which will swell all of us with greater pride. My gut feeling is that he will not only achieve Gold but also excel his own record. Neeraj is the finest Athlete India has ever produced. All the very best to him. Proud of him and Proud of being an Indian.”
