Pickleball Startup GoRally Secures $750K Pre-Seed Funding to Drive Expansion

GoRally, a rapidly growing pickleball chain, has successfully raised $750,000 (Rs 6.6 crore) in pre-seed funding, fueling its plans to scale operations and enhance its tech-driven community experience.

This funding round was led by Sujeet Kumar, with additional backing from prominent investors such as Mohit Kumar, Vatsal Singhal, Viren Singhvi, Kartik Kapoor, Abhishek Goyal, Deepak Singh, Arjun Vaidya, Bharat Founders Fund, an IITD syndicate, and several US-based investors. The capital will be used to expand GoRally’s presence by increasing the number of courts, centers, and tech-driven services.

Founded in 2023 by Sam Sancheti and Abhinav Shankar, GoRally currently operates four centers in Bengaluru, featuring 15 courts, including its flagship 15,000 sq. ft. indoor facility near Indiranagar. The startup has plans to scale to eight centers, offering 40 pickleball and 2 padel courts by April 2025. One of the upcoming venues includes GoRally Whitefield, an expansive 40,000 sq. ft. indoor pickleball and padel arena.

Beyond Bengaluru, the company is setting its sights on Delhi and Chennai, aiming to expand through strategic partnerships in the coming months.

As part of its mission to enhance the recreational sports experience, GoRally is launching a dedicated tech platform this month. This digital ecosystem will streamline engagement within its growing 4,000-member WhatsApp community and optimize its popular ‘Open-play’ game format.

GoRally is not just building courts—it’s creating a comprehensive ecosystem around pickleball and padel. The company is investing in:

  • Coaching services, featuring top-ranked players from Karnataka.
  • Equipment retail, distributing premium brands like Joola.

By integrating these elements, GoRally is positioning itself as a leading full-stack player in India’s booming recreational sports market.

With fresh capital in hand, the company is well on its way to shaping the future of pickleball and padel in India, making the sport more accessible and engaging for enthusiasts nationwide
