D’Décor has once again teamed up with Bollywood’s beloved couple, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt, to showcase its innovative FabriCare range in a new campaign.
This latest initiative, crafted by 82.5 Communications and brought to life by Karan Johar’s Dharma 2.0, centers around the theme “Beauty that needs no protection,” highlighting FabriCare’s resilient, high-performance fabrics in the context of everyday household chaos.
Drawing inspiration from the unpredictable nature of home life—whether it’s an impromptu party, a bustling family gathering, or just the daily ups and downs—the campaign demonstrates how FabriCare’s advanced fabric technology is designed to withstand it all. The fabrics are stain-resistant, spill-proof, and incredibly easy to maintain, making them an ideal choice for today’s dynamic households. This year, the campaign puts a spotlight on FabriCare’s Easy Clean technology, now extended to curtains as well as sofa fabrics, along with the introduction of their new super-soft 100% Blackout curtains.
Ajay Arora, Managing Director of D’Décor Home Fabrics, commented, “Our goal with FabriCare is to provide consumers with fabrics that not only look beautiful but also perform exceptionally well. In a home setting, people want to enjoy life’s moments without worrying about keeping their furnishings pristine. Ranbir and Alia, with their vibrant and modern personas, perfectly capture the spirit of what we aim to deliver through our fabrics—beauty, durability, and ease of care.”
In the campaign, Kapoor and Bhatt enact relatable home scenarios where mishaps could easily ruin regular fabrics, but FabriCare’s products effortlessly keep everything looking as good as new. The ad combines the glamour of Bollywood with practical solutions for everyday living, making it both entertaining and informative.
Karan Johar expressed his enthusiasm for the project, stating, “Working on this campaign was a unique experience. The idea of blending the drama of everyday life with the durability of high-performance fabrics, all wrapped in a Bollywood narrative, was a creative challenge that paid off beautifully. Ranbir and Alia brought a fantastic energy to the set, and their chemistry made the campaign truly special.”
Ranbir Kapoor shared his excitement, saying, “Being part of the FabriCare campaign has been a great experience. The fabrics not only add style to homes but also bring a level of resilience that’s much needed in today’s busy lives. People want their homes to be stylish without compromising on their daily activities, and FabriCare delivers just that. I’m thrilled to be associated with such a forward-thinking brand.”
Alia Bhatt, who has been with FabriCare for over a year, added, “I’m delighted to continue my journey with FabriCare by D’Décor. This campaign highlights how the brand is constantly pushing the boundaries of quality and innovation. It’s exciting to be part of something that makes life easier and homes more beautiful.”
The campaign is being aired across various platforms, including television, digital channels, and social media, aiming to merge the allure of Bollywood with practical insights into home furnishing. Simone Arora, Creative Director of D’Décor Home Fabrics, emphasized the brand’s commitment to creating fabrics that combine aesthetics with superior performance. “Our new campaign reflects our dedication to offering products that not only look good but are also built to last, empowering our customers to live better.”
Nikita Desai, Vice President of Strategy, Brand and Business Excellence at D’Décor, remarked on the success of FabriCare over the past year, noting, “FabriCare has made a significant impact by helping consumers create beautiful and functional living spaces. We’re constantly innovating to ensure our fabrics offer unmatched durability and elegance, and this campaign takes that message to the next level.”
Mayur Varma, Chief Creative Officer at 82.5 Communications, added, “The unexpected is a part of life, especially in homes like Ranbir and Alia’s. Our campaign showcases how FabriCare’s Easy Clean technology steps up to the challenge, keeping sofas and curtains spotless even in the face of daily mishaps. It’s a high-energy ad that perfectly captures the high-performance nature of these fabrics.
