“Your year in audio”

It’s the end of the year, and Spotify ‘Wrapped’ is finally here. It’s making news all over the internet, and enthusiastic users across the globe and glued to their devices to check their music receipts.

But what is it?

Spotify ‘Wrapped’ is a celebration of the realist moments that have defined your music experience over the past year. It is an annual personalized feature of Spotify that gives its users a retrospective lookback at their music listening habits across the past year. By crunching data on every track, album, artist and podcast users have listened to over the year, Spotify turns those numbers into flashy cards and infographics, presented to you on an easy-to-understand page which you can access on your desktop and mobile. For example, one of their lists would include ‘Your Top Songs 2023’.

The feature usually drops at the end of November, and with more than 574 fans across the world this year, Spotify had its worked cut out for them – and they didn’t disappoint. The #SpotifyWrapped hashtag is once again trending all across social media.

How do you view it?

The bar for joining Spotify ‘Wrapped’ is almost limitless. Everyone can view it regardless of which month they started using Spotify. However, you need to make sure that you update to the latest version of the Spotify app once ‘Wrapped’ rolls out to access your customized experience.
