Movie marketing has soared to new heights this year after Netflix ‘s ‘The Archies’ has exclusively collaborated with India’s finest full-service carrier, Vistara, for a nostalgic and magical ‘Flight to Riverdale’.

Set in the 1960s, ‘The Archies’ reimagines the iconic and quintessential Archie comics as a live-action musical set in the imaginary town of Riverdale in India. The films collaboration with Vistara collaboration emphasizes that theme as the flight UK 1964 welcomed abroad the cast of the film for this one-of-a-kind experience, along with a few lucky fans and Club Vistara members.

Journeying from Delhi to Goa, the flight experience was one of a kind. According to a press release from Vistara:“The celebration onboard was marked by retro-themed décor in line with the film’s aesthetics, specially curated meals and beverages reminiscent of Pop Tate’s, customised Vistara and Netflix giveaways, and a chance for the passengers to travel with their favourite characters from The Archies.”

Furthermore, the compelling and spirited soundtrack of ‘The Archies’ played as part of the flight’s boarding and landing music. Inside the flight, Vistara’s entertainment system ‘Vistara World’ showcased some exclusive behind-the-scenes glimpses into the making of the Archies. And what’s better than in-flight dancing?

Arriving at the airport in Goa, the passengers were greeted to a magical sight. The arrival hall was transformed into a mini-Riverdale with colourfully themed backfrops ad props from the film itself. What’s more, a flash mob welcomed the passengers.

Vistara is the latest brand to have partnered with ‘The Archies’ to promote their upcoming movie, preceded by Starbucks, Maybelline New York and Skybags.
