Spotify’s annual Wrapped 2024 is back!
As the year draws to an end, the streaming giant has given users the chance to embark on a personalized journey through their listening habits, highlighting the artists, songs, and podcasts that defined their year. You can also discover which artists had the biggest reach on the platform.
“Think of 2024 Spotify Wrapped as a celebration of the fans, artists, and creators who made this such an amazing year. We’re giving fans even more ways to indulge in what they love, from showing them how their taste in music evolved throughout the year to special messages from their favorite artists and podcasters,” Spotify said.
Global Artists: Taylor Swift and Sabrina Carpenter dominates Spotify
This year’s top global artist Taylor Swift, who continues her reign as the most-streamed artist, amassing no less than 26.6 billion streams. Swift’s “The Tortured Poets Department: The Anthology” was the most streamed album globally, and the surprise double album made history by becoming the first one in Spotify to reach over 300 million streams in one day.
Taylor Swift was followed by The Weeknd, Bad Bunny, Drake, and Billie Eilish.
The most streamed song was Sabrina Carpenter’s “The Expresso”, which garnered an astonishing 1.6 billion streams.
Indian Artists: Who Came out on Top?
In India, Arijit Singh remained the most-streamed artist for the fourth consecutive year on Spotify India, securing the #1 spot.
