Sushant Divgikar partners with Warner Music India to perform ‘Bawla’ for India’s Maati

‘Straight from the soul of Rajasthan’

Sushant Divgikar aka Rani KoHEnur has collaborated with Warner Music India’s new label Maati, which aims to promote Indian folk music. 

Namely, Maati’s first season features Sushant’s debut track, ‘Bawla’, an exquisitely performed song that brings the true essence of Rajasthan and its folk music to a wider audience across the country. Thus, it celebrates the rich cultural diversity of India through melodious music.

The track was in collaboration with New Zealand songwriter Mikey McCleary and Indian singer Parth Parekh, ft. the Khan brothers.

To stimulate audience interest, Warner Music India has also released a captivating behind-the-scenes look at the track, showcasing how Sushant and others navigated the set and prepared for the performance.

Bawla’ was directed by Prakarsh Tiwari (aka Inflict), powered by boAt Nirvana, and curated by Night Song Records.

The track, along with Sushant’s performance has received tremendous praise across social media, with many highlighting the meticulous attention paid to the song and costumes.
