Mumbai-based lifestyle activewear startup Terractive has raised ₹8 crore in a pre-Series A funding round, co-led by Fireside Ventures and DeVC (Matrix Partners).
This funding marks a significant milestone for the brand, which aims to revolutionize the activewear segment through cutting-edge fabric technology and innovative designs.
The fresh capital will be directed towards advancing fabric development and product innovation, positioning Terractive as a leader in premium lifestyle wear.
Founded in 2023 by sisters Raena Ambani and Rahee Ambani-Choksi, Terractive focuses on creating activewear that seamlessly combines performance with comfort. The brand’s signature fabrics, such as TerraSoft and CoolKnit, are designed to cater to the needs of modern consumers.These innovations reflect Terractive’s mission to create clothing that performs exceptionally well while ensuring maximum comfort.
The Indian fashion and apparel industry is set to generate $105.50 billion in revenue by 2024, with an annual growth rate of 3.35% through 2029. This robust growth positions Terractive to capitalize on the increasing demand for premium, multifunctional apparel that aligns with consumers’ evolving lifestyles.
