For as long as anyone can remember, a cartoon duo that has created a place in the happy memories of every individual is of course the iconic, Tom & Jerry. The show and its exciting storylines have been around since 1940 and continue to spread joy to date.
The cartoon has been around before the rise of social media and now is keeping up with the changing dynamics of the world and using social media as their primary platform for the celebration of their 82nd birthday in India.

To rekindle the cherished memories of this extraordinaire, Cartoon Network, a WarnerMedia Kids channel, launched a social media campaign. The campaign was executed by Cartoon Network’s recently appointed social media marketing agency Chimp&z Inc, an alliance of Merge Infinity Global.
The show’s birthday celebration was executed for brand and franchise amplification. This was done across the most prevailing platforms, Facebook and Instagram that could connect the fans from all ‘round the world and allow them to participate in this campaign.
Brand collaboration was the initial strategy for the campaign that was followed by UGC-led content that helped in gaining organic traffic and reach for the same.
The leading kids’ entertainment brand in India, Cartoon Network, divided its campaign into different segments, pre-birthday, birthday, and after-party. ‘I see Tom and Jerry’, #LetItSlide & ‘Tom and Jerry Get The Cherry’ were the three parts that collectively received over 2,25,400+ impressions, 2,14,100+ reach and an increase of 3000 new followers every week.
The official handle of Cartoon Network on Instagram also kept up with the latest features and posted a wrap-up Reel to showcase how the celebrations unfurled.
