Travel Influencer Tanya Khanijow Reveals Secrets to Getting Paid to Travel on “Aleena Dissects”

“When I heard the numbers, of how much you can command through YouTube videos, it just blew my mind” , she said, While talking about how she started out making content on YouTube and how she understood the algorithm through one of her friends.

“I feel like in India, everybody is prioritizing Instagram, it should be YouTube.” One of the standout moments from the episode was Tanya’s advice for aspiring travel influencers.

“The problem is that 2012 was the year when we heard about the Nirbhaya case, and I don’t think the ground realities have truly changed,” she stated, while speaking about how safe travelers are in India or in any country, especially women, she said, “In india you’re not given a safe space to report and I think that must change”.

Tanya also shared her thoughts on collaborating with brands, emphasizing the importance of staying true to one’s personal values and not compromising just for the sake of a paycheck. “The most rewarding partnerships are those where there’s a mutual understanding and respect for each other’s vision,” she added.
