WickedGud Secures ₹20 Crore Funding to Revolutionize India’s Snack Market

Mumbai-based food brand WickedGud, a prominent Shark Tank India alum, has successfully raised ₹20 crore in a fresh funding round.

This investment was spearheaded by Orios Venture Partners, with significant contributions from Asiana Fund and other existing stakeholders. Known for its innovative approach to “unjunking India,” WickedGud is set to use this capital infusion to expand its distribution channels, strengthen its branding initiatives, and enhance its workforce.

This funding milestone arrives nearly a year after the company secured ₹6 crore from investors such as Asiana Fund, Titan Capital, Hyderabad Angels, and Disruption Fund, among others.

Founded in 2021 by Bhuman Dani, WickedGud has gained recognition for offering nutritious alternatives to conventional snacks. The brand utilizes an innovative Steaming and Convection Air Drying (SCAD) technology to craft guilt-free noodles, pasta, and chips. With a mission to cater to health-conscious Gen Z and Gen X audiences, the brand continues to lead the way in rethinking comfort food.

“We are redefining snack foods in India, making indulgence healthier without compromising on taste,” shared Dani.

With a current footprint in over 2,000 retail outlets, WickedGud is expanding into high-growth retail platforms, including DMart, Zepto, Blinkit, and Instamart. The company has also witnessed remarkable traction on Reliance Retail’s shelves and quick-commerce platforms, positioning itself as a favorite among urban consumers.

To keep up with evolving tastes, WickedGud is set to introduce Korean-inspired flavors to its instant and cup noodle ranges, tapping into the growing fascination for global cuisine in India.

“This funding is a testament to the trust our investors have in WickedGud’s mission to make better-for-you snacks accessible across India. Our recent launches and partnerships have shown the immense potential of our brand in both retail and digital spaces,” Dani remarked.
