Viraj Ghelani, a famous content creator, , has made a surprise cameo in Bollywood’s highly anticipated film “Jawan”, starring none other than Shah Rukh Khan. He plays a character called Dubey.
Viraj runs a YouTube channel named “That’s So Viraj”, where he posts comic videos on topical and relatable situations, and has garnered more than 1.1. million followers on his Instagram account. But his journey has not stopped with social media, as his next step takes him to the big screen of Bollywood.
Viraj took to Instagram to share the news and express his gratitude for the opportunity, with the caption: “Guess who did a small Cameo in @iamsrk’s Jawaaan”

He received several positive comments and encouraging messages by his fellow content creators and actors, including Karishma, Disha Madan, Ankush Bahuguna, Saransh Goila, and many more.
This is not Viraj Ghelani’s first foray into the big screen. He made his Dharma debut with Vicky Kaushal’s “Govinda Naam Mera”, which released on 16th December 2022. He has also appeared in Little Things (2016) and What the Folks (2017).
Viraj is one of the many examples of content creators who are expanding their careers into acting. Prajakta Koli is known for her roles in Mismatched and Neeyat, among others, and the anticipated film “Thank You For Coming”, scheduled to hit the theatres on October 6th, also stars various content creators, including Dolly Singh and Kusha Kapila. The interest various big-name production houses are showing influencers is indicative growing awareness about their ability to appeal to audiences as well as the advantages of their massive fan following on social media.
